How to get your refund
Email your RAC membership number and screenshots of the AA quote you’ve received to [email protected].
This needs to show the date of the quote, your postcode, vehicle registration, date of birth, and the AA cover level you selected.
The quote must be for the same cover level you purchased from us.

^AA Price Guarantee terms and conditions:
- You must purchase your RAC Breakdown Cover via www.rac.co.uk.
- If you find the same cover cheaper directly via theaa.com, we’ll beat their price by 10%.
- AA quotes from affiliates, affinity partners & employee offers are excluded.
- You need to share proof of the AA quote within 7 days of purchasing your RAC Breakdown Cover.
- If you paid for a year’s cover up front, the difference will be refunded onto your card within 30 working days.
- If you pay monthly, we’ll reduce your monthly payments for the rest of the year by the refunded amount.

- Your RAC membership number
- Screenshots of the AA quote, which must include:
- Date of quote
- Your postcode
- Your vehicle registration
- Your date of birth
- The AA equivalent cover level
- The personal details used for your AA quote must be the same as those you provided for your RAC cover.
- If your cover includes multiple vehicles or additional members, these details also need to be provided.
- Saving is only applicable to closest equivalent UK breakdown cover bought via rac.co.uk, and excludes business cover:
